1998年YWAM(Youth with a Mission)のJewish-World Officeで世界にいるユダヤ人の歴史や実体を調査し、“An Intercessor’s Guide to the Jewish World”というユダヤ人のためのとりなしの祈りのガイドブックを出版した。このガイドブックは、世界のユダヤ人のためにとりなすように、その国にいるユダヤ人がそこに住み着くようになった背景や社会状況などが紹介されていて、毎週彼らのための祈るように編集されているが、2004年に祈りのガイドが終わるようになっている。
シャローム・メシアニック・エクレシアでは、このガイドブックの内容を翻訳し、毎週祈り続けて来たが、祈りの途中、このガイドブックを本格的に出版し日本に紹介しようと、YWAMのJewish-World Officeの担当者に連絡しその旨を伝えたが、ガイドブックの内容が若干変わったところを訂正し、新しく出版する予定だという返事を頂いた。
最近新しいガイドブックの出版について問い合わせしたところ、新しい祈りのガイドブックのために働いていたスタッフが急になくなり、今のところ出版の予定がないという返事を頂き、多少の内容が変わっているところがあるかもしれないが、ぜひ、世界にいるユダヤ人について少しでも知って頂き、イスラエルの回復のために共に祈る機会にしたいと思うところである。

Greetings from the YWAM Jewish World Office (JWO) in Richmond VA, USA.
My name is Kay Hudgins & I serve as director of the JWO.
First of all, praise God for your Intercession for the Jewish people! This is more important now than ever as global stress seems to always bring on raging anti-Semitism.
Regarding the new edition of An Intercessor's Guide to the Jewish World...from a pure logistical basis we have not been able to republish. A few years ago we started the intensive research update; hit a bump when a Publisher dropped out & then our lead researcher died suddenly.
By then we were also committed into other major projects including global on the ground outreaches into the Jewish world & multiplying our 6 month School of Jewish Studies into other nations.
Recently we have revisited the republishing idea. Right now we do not have the person for the "spearhead" for this but we are actively seeking & praying for this. In fact I will be meeting with a publisher in a few weeks so maybe now is the time. I will let you know.
Meanwhile the older version though a bit out of date is still very useable.
Essentially 4 noteworthy things have most changed:
1) maybe less significant is some demographic information i.e. mostly numbers of Jewish people in any given locations as this changes periodically
2) a major increase in global anti-Semitism that have had a dramatic & sustained upsurge since the 2000 Intifada (and of course since the events in the past 2 years with Hezbollah & Hamas)
3) a commiserate increase in the rise of Messianic Judaism both in & out of Israel (Praise God)
4) increasing persecution of Jewish Believers in the Land of Israel by the Orthodox & the Government
Yehoshua Jo, please continue to pray for the Jewish people. I will personally appreciate your prayers for our ministry (researchers, resources, publishing, etc...) as we seek to raise up Intercession on their behalf.
